Safer Internet Day 2014

Safer Internet Day (SID) is organized by Insafe co-funded by the European Union in 2nd Day of 2nd Week of 2nd Month of every Year to promote safer and more responsible use of online technology and mobile phones, especially amongst children and young people across the world.

DISC Foundation is the official committee since 2011 to mark this event in India safer internet day , In UAE we coordinating this event with Abu Dhabi Police and Nahtam DISC safer internet day.

Safer Internet Day 2014 will be celebrated on 11 February 2014. The strapline for the campaign is “Let’s create a better internet together”.

DISC Foundation in coordination with Department of Electronics and Information Technology, Human Resource Development, Ministry of Women and Child Development, Ministry of Home Affairs and other NGO stakeholders planning to mark the forthcoming event in 2014 a national-wide remarkable experience in all possible schools and organization.
